Hi. My name is Sandy. I will be getting a baby Green Cheek Conure in a couple of weeks. He is still being handfed by the breeder. Any advice on bringing home baby would be greatly appreciated! I've got a cage that I'm setting up for him. Any advice on setting up the cage, what toys to get, etc... would be so helpful. I look forward to being a part of this forum and my new adventure as a bird owner.

Welcome, Sandy!
See if the little tike can be allowed to fly, but this is a heavy responsibility on your part. If the breeder can get him used to a harness, that would be great!

Welcome to the forums, and congratulations in advance for your GCC!

Conure owners may give more refined advice, but parrots generally do best with the largest cage (within reason) you can provide. It may take trial and error to determine the best toys; some parrots like wooden chew-blocks, others more intricate "puzzle" types.

Welcome!
Glad you found us...
Green cheeks are wildly popular here, deservedly so!
You'll have lots of company and advice and support...
