Fred; the guy who owns the store/breeds most of the parrots is just fantastic with his birds. They are all "his babies" and you can see that as he interacts with them in his store. Most of the birds are kept in off site of the store (it's only a small place!) but he usually has a steady stream of 2-3 amazons/greys in, with the odd 'too/macaw/other every now and then. He often encourages people to play and handle the birds before they buy them, which I think is a good sign, rather than just 'yeah sure take it no worries'. &he's often happy to see me down at his store just handling his birds for fun as it helps keep them well so******ed whilst they're in the store.
I got my Merlin from his store (he didn't breed the Senegals, but I was given the full info of the woman that did) and it's very unusual for a bird to pass through his store that isn't 'well cared for'. Merlin had a bad leg, but that wasn't really anyones 'fault'.
If anyone is looking (especially for an amazon/grey) I'd highly recommend this breeder. &I am beyond excited for the grey I'm going to get from him!
