I just had a random question in my head and I couldnt find a good answer for it. Can a breeding pair of macaws interact with other pairs or single pet macaws

I was just thinking in the future I would like to add a rescue pair of macaws since I imagine they are hard to place, and just wanted to know if they could interact with other pet macaws

i dont think you could but i could be worng. when you have pair of breeders they are usually aggressive. but im sure there are some that are nice. i guess it depends on how much you try to handle them. but correct me im wrong cuz i would like to know

I also want to clarify that I understand if it even is possible that it could never be around the nesting area

This is probably not a good idea. You would be lucky if you yourself could even get near a breeder pair. Most have never been handled. Unless you are extremely experienced, and I only know one person who succeeded in creating a flock from unrelated macaws. It took years though, and did not come without some deep bites and stitches...
