Have any of you had to sign a contract when you bought or adopted a bird? I am trying to write mine, and as silly as this sounds, I am having a horrible time thinking of where to start or how to word it. I have never had one. I basically want to include that I will take the bird back at any time for any reason (yes I understand the importance of quarantine and vet checks and that this could cost me a lot of money but I feel very strongly about it), that the parents have been given clean bills of health, outline my disease testing schedule, allow 14 days to return the bird for a full refund, and include a rebate if they bring me/send me a copy of the receipt from a vet visit within those 14 days, etc. Any suggestions?
