Holly at breakfast this morning

She had peanuts, dried bananas, pellets, and sunflower seeds.

Don't tell Max, he'd be a little jealous. He usually just gets pellets and maybe some sprouts for breakfast. His "good" meal is dinner - fresh peas, Brussels sprouts, or his absolute favorite - Cream of Wheat with a little brown sugar and butter. He loves that so much, that I keep it as a special treat about 1 night/week.

Natalie and HRH Di, may I come over for brekkie and dinner LoL :grey:
Thank goodness parrots can't read (hope they can't) haha Mishka would probably ask for the menu to be changed.
I still feed her hand rearing formula, with a syringe at 4.AM, (vet said it's a great idea, much goodness in it, and if I ever had to give her medication, she would not reject the syringe.
At6 6AM she gets pellets. At 10AM its a few nuts. At 2PM piece of fresh fruit.
At 5PM veggies, then a little bit of yoghurt.
When training her, plain popcorn.
Gosh I sound like a chef !!!!!!!!!

LOL Antoinette....You'd have a long trip to just come for breakfast.

HRH, She does love peas too ... She usually gets a few each day. I garden, and always have peas on hand in the freezer.
I'll have to try the cream of wheat. I bet she'll love that. She loves the wheat Ritz crackers too.

You take such a good photo. Nice and clear. It is also clear that you enjoy Holly. I thought you got another bird too or am I thinking of someone else. Did you check out the cook book I posted? Keep on enjoying.

Antoinette, we ALWAYS have coffee here ... hope you like it strong!

SB, thanks. We got the little cockatiel now too. She is adorable. She loves to ride around on a shoulder, and if anyone tries to remove her, she yells at you. lol .... I need to get more photos of her. She joined my husband, Greg, and I for lunch yesterday. She would go down my arm, cross the table, and up to his shoulder, and then come back .... investigating what we were eating lol .... so adorable.
I saw you mentioning the cookbook somewhere....did you post more about it?? I'd love to get one. I have a website saved on my favorites full of recipes for birds. :)
