Bought a boing.

What is a boing rope?

It's a commercial perch made with a woven cover over a flexible core that can be shaped ,bent .

We got Emmy one of these. She liked it. However, she chewed the rope right at the end, and the thing started to fall apart. So, it was good while it lasted, but we probably won't get her another one.

Here's a pic of a boing rope
They come in many different shapes as well

Nice buys!!! Please let us know how Jackie does with the boing. I'm pretty sure the foraging thing will be an instant hit.

My Hunter isn't too fond of the boings, but Sam LOVES them. :)

We were at the pet store yesterday and one of the workers had a BFA or something on her shoulder- looked like it was twice the size of Jackie!
I wasnt planning on buying a boing, but it was only $15 so I figured- why not? Plus, It was a very handsome cockatoo at the store that lured me over to the boing bin lol apparently mr too has a habit of escaping his cage at night, climbing down to the boing bin, and destroying them LOL

So far Jackie doesn't seem interested in the boing at all lol I'll be remodeling his jungle gym and play area soon, and the toys he has he barely touches so I figured we'll give the foraging majiggy a try. I ordered some sisal twine and we have TONS of bamboo so I was planning on making some Bamboo ladders and maybe a rope net and probably a bunch of other stuff. Lol

We have a boing rope, a rope swing, and a rope perch for our baby LCA Bacci. He loves them all.

I've bought several of these for my Bare-Eyed Cockatoo (Anna) in the past, and she still has two in her enclosure. They last usually two to three months and then it's adios amigo.

I think it's a good amount of time for a curious bird to have it for.
