Veimar....your boy flies off to poop!? I am jealous....Boris does usually climb off me to poop, but if he's on my shoulder or head, he doesn't like to get down so I sometimes find small "bundles" smeared down my back, haha!

Veimar....your boy flies off to poop!? I am jealous....Boris does usually climb off me to poop, but if he's on my shoulder or head, he doesn't like to get down so I sometimes find small "bundles" smeared down my back, haha!

It took me a few months to train him - so now he doesn't poo on me at all. At first I just took him off every 15-20 min and told him "poo!" - if he did he got praised. If he pooped on me he got a dirty look and some angry words. LOL It really worked and took about 2 months to accomplish. He also somehow figured out not to poo on the tables - now he goes to the edge and does his thing on the floor. I didn't teach him that - he's just a smart ass.
You can teach your bird to do that - just takes some patience.

Im glad you could join! Boris is adorable! Lilo loves doing that too but she gets caught because of the nests she makes in my hair!
