Hi everyone! First off, I apologize for not being around the past several weeks. Sorry if I missed your posts and news of your bird companions. I've been busy with Boomer, work and playing my new video game. Since his bad accident over a month ago, Boomer fully recovered instantly like it never happened, thank God. The blood and stool test results from the vet were all good. I might scan the results if there is enough interest. And he is confirmed to be male!

I wanted to share pictures of the upgrade I did on Boomer's indoor zen garden. There are still a lot I want to do with it such as a panoramic wall mural of a rain forest, hanging plants, a thicker canopy on the ceiling, etc. But for now, this is what I have. He still has his little spa / sleep house sitting atop the Boomer cabinet. I filled the cabinet compartment with plastic cat balls which he goes crazy over when he's in the mood for them.

i'm super jealous of this right now

that's just so amazing, i LOVE it!!! he's so luckyyyyy!!!

What an amazing job you've done! It's absolutely beautiful. Boomer looks so happy and serene.

Boomer must be a very good boy. Sunny breaks those plastic cat toys open in a snap, lol.

Now that's an upgrade. Lol about the holey shirt, is there any other kind? :)

That is so cool! I'd love to do something like that for my birds. Are the plants non-toxic or does your conure not mess with them? Oliver will chew up any plants so I need to be careful!

Wow, great job! Glad to hear Boomer is doing better!

PHENOMENAL!!!!! :D

Everything looks so lush and healthy! And Boomer is as gorgeous as ever. So glad he's all right. :)

So is Boomer a boy or a girl? ;)

It looks fantastic! You did such a great job! :)

Thank you for the nice comments!!!

Marcy: Thank you very much!

Blancaej: Thanks for asking, I updated my first post because I forgot that I actually wanted to share that. I got the DNA result and Boomer is confirmed to be male! I always had a feeling that he was so its nice to be right for once lol! His blood and stool tests came out great. I have a copy of the lab work which is quite technical. I can scan it if there is enough interest.

JerseyWendy: Thank you! I've never really had a green thumb and sometimes I see some plants not being as healthy looking as they should, but I try my best!

Kinny: Thank you!

Sofiaee: The plants in the main 'garden' are all bird safe. The water bamboos scattered around the apartment in 5-6 vases are not though :/ I can't get myself to throw them out because they are so green and nice. Boomer can't get to them anymore because of the height and placement of the vases. I freaked one day because I caught him having a taste of the water so I rearranged the vases so they're no longer easily accessible.

Kq_fan: Thank you, glad you liked it!

Kali: You know a person is a bird owner from the holes on their shirt!

Thekarens: Thank you much!

Faeriephoebe1: I think he is a good boy! He has his devil-bird moments though! My house shirts and keyboard will agree.

DallyTsuka: Thank you very much!

It's always nice to know if they are a boy or a girl! Congrats on your Boomer being a boy! :D

Glad his bloods and stools came out fine. I hate those reports, they are really hard to read with all the techy jargin. LOL!

Oh wow, i just posted about the hang out room im redoing with a fish tank. I should do something like this.

He looks so beautiful against those greens. You gave me an idea for my bird room. Great job!!!
