As some of you may remember, we had three baby lovebirds that we were hand feeding. We gave two of them to my friend, and we kept one. My partner and I had intended that I would be the primary bird mommy. However, right after we separated Toot from his siblings, she was the one who spent the majority of the first two days with him. It seems as though he quickly formed an attachment to her in those first two days. It's been almost a month now, but no matter what I do, he prefers my partner. He's fine with me, but as soon as she walks in the room, I'm chopped liver.
