It looks like you have a pretty girl, but I'm no expert! Parakeets can only eat teeny tinny pellets, so it's usually best to get the ones made for them. You can crumble smash bigger pellets for them buts it's a frustrating process. I do offer crumbled tops pellets to mine, and other smashed pellets, but seeds are a big part of my parakeets diet. My parakeets do eat veggies very well though. I hang leafy stuff like romaine, bok choy, dandelion greens, celery greens, mustard greens. And offer chopped up veggies, and even let them nibble bigger chunks of carrots, broccoli, bell and chili peppers. Sometimes corn or apples. The dig right in.
