Bob seems happy. He is getting to be quite a good flier; I thought a clipping was good until he molted, was this a poor assumption? He will usually fly to my shoulder on command, and had learned that when I put him on his cage he is supposed to stay there until I tell him "shoulder".

He seems to be a bit confused as to weather his name is Bob or Silly Bird. Bob also let me look at his ear today, I wasn't trying to, I was just rubbing his cheeks and disturbed the feathers in a way that allowed me to see his ear,

aww sounds like you an bob are gettin on fine,

is he flying or gliding?? but just be mindful of any open windows etc to be safe

Bob is flying, he will gain altituted in dead air.

Bob also drank for a bottle today. It wasn't planned or encouraged. I just took him to work and was pouring a bottle of water into his dish with him sitting next to it and he ducked his head in for a quick drink.

There was also an emergancy with a baby bird today. There is a nest about 20 feet above a concrete patio. One of the babies in the nest fell out. I took it to a local wild bird rescue and told them what had happened; I hope it will do well. When I left I handed Bob to a coworker. When I got back she said that Bob had bitten her and she left him in my office. Is it normal for birds/tield to bite like that she said that he was just sitting on her shoulder when he started to bite? and should I avoid leaving Bob with other people?

i don't think its a bad thing to leave him with others, it'll help with so******ing him, but best to have him in an area that is his lol you don't want to be fallin out with ppl you work with etc lol

Bob got his first pedicure Saturday. The store I got him from offers free nail and wing clippings and we took advantage of that. The only problem was that I ended up spending quite a bit while there. Bob got several new toys. One of them was a foot toy with a bell in it for his playstand. He has decided that he likes playing fetch with it. He will throw it on the ground and then demand that I put it back.

Bob seems to have started molting, and has developed an interesting new behavior. He will stand on a perch and lean forward spreading his wings. I always think it looks like he is about to plummet.
