Great looking birds! What would be the price for a pair in this color be?

It all depends here you locate them. Some people ask over 400 for a single blue opaline (rosy) bourke. http://www.berrymansbabiesandprints.com/id30.html

We have so many bird breeders and brokers in south Florida that the prices are softer. My guess would be around 400-500 a pair.

Welcome to the forum I love rosey bourkes and have wanted one for a long time. Roughly about where are you located in south fla. I live in Rotonda west, Fla which is about 26 miles south of Venice and about 68 miles noth of Fort Meyers on the gulf of Mexico. All the mutations are so pretty. and from what I understand hand fed hand tame babies make great pets.:)

Thanks for the photos! Love them! If I were to work on one mutation, the blue opalines, or just blue bourkes in general, would be it! That, or purple/violet budgies!

How long have you been working with blue opalines?

Not long. Started last year. I've had bourkes for a while but am now focusing on the blue rosy colors.

those are very pretty! I have rosy bourkes . I didn't even know what kind of bird it was until last month, when I did some trading for other birds.

Beautiful! When I saw the thread title I was hoping for pictures! :)

Those are beautiful birds! Thanks for posting the photos.
