That’s the short version. It picks up seed debris, wood shavings, and small feathers (not large ones).
For those who did not grow up with these old fashioned devices you have to remember to push down when moving the sweeper back and forth.
Only complaint is the handle isin 4/5 screw together sections and they don’t stay tight. I think a little Locktite will fix it up. If not there is always duct tape
