Now I know birds do watch TV and see what we see......

I have posted pictures of animals, on the wall near her cage.
Dogs, monkeys and cows etc.
When I take her out, I show her the pictures, and tell her what they are.

Earlier on, Mishka was on her playpen, facing the TV set.
I had the sound off, was busy recording her talking.
Some program about dogs was showing.

Mishka started saying doggies woof woof :D

I guess I had better start using the parental guide soon LoL

Mishka is one in a million! I have a DVD that is a parrot a baby sitter so to speak and play it sometimes but not too often. Rosie sits mezmerized watching it. One other thing I notice is when I get the magazine Bird Talk with the centerfold bird and show it to Rosie she also looks at the pic and seems to like it. I imagine they know the still pics are not real. How smart they are!!

They really are so so intelligent. Wonder what Rosie was thinking when she saw the pic's of the birds ...... hey mom those are my cousins LoL
What is the DVD called?, would love to get it for Mishka.

How boring life would be without our feathered friends

AWWW how precious!!! I know my Sidney could care less, but Paulie will sit at the edge of his stand glued to any animated type show or movie. Finding Nemo so far has been his favorite. When the TV turns on He runs and positions himself where he can get a good view, and talks to it the whole time!

How cute is this! Thanks for sharing.

I'd like to find a bird DVD, but cheaper. Any ideas?

Mishka is my inspiration for Jimmy...and he has taken to the television too. Yesterday I had it on for him while I went outside to do some yardwork. I came in and he was watching it very intently.

I reckon they should have programs for parrots, just imagine how great that would be. :D

My daughters love to watch animal planet and discovery channel. When one of the "animal shows" as my daughter calls it is on, jimmy sits and stares and start to whistle and chirp at the t.v. its so funny. My eldest started to change the channel when Jimmy comes out of his cage for loving time to animal planet from her favorite cartoon.

LoL how coincidental. Mishka loves the animal planet as well
The cartoons are her favorite, she loves the kiddie voices, all the fun weird sounds and the whistling.
