Bird sitting

I am currently bird sitting for 5 months. Her name is Lexus and she is an eclectic parrot. She layed 2 eggs a week ago and is displaying some odd behaviour. I'm wondering if this is normal, like a hormone thing and will pass?

I think you mean an eclectus parrot, not eclectic. What behavior is she displaying? If she’s laying eggs, she’s hormonal.

Welcome to the forums! Nice of you to bird-sit, Eclectus are beautiful and charming companions.

Did the parront (short for bird parent!) give you any guidance as to her history or egg-laying habits? If she is living in your home, it is possible the stimulation of a move caused excess hormonal behaviors. Is it possible for her parront(s) to Skype or Facetime? Parrots will observe and positively react to images/sounds from a video monitor.
