Bird Safe Cleaner

I just wanted to share. I bought some FIT veggie and fruit wash, it is concentrated. I mixed it in a spray bottle and tried it on some dried bird poop. It wiped right up, worked better than Poop-Off to me. I was amazed. I have been using just this as a total household cleaner. It even got the Koolaid stain off the counter with no scrubbing. I was very impressed. I even put it in my spray mop and cleaned the floors, it did not leave a film as I have had some cleaners do. Anyway, it was 9.00 a bottle and it lasts a while. Just wanted to let everyone know cause poop off is expensive and this worked just as well.

Thanks for the tip I will give that a try . Yes , poop off is expensive.
I have tried different things , like leaving a wet paper towel over stubborn poops and came back to wipe it up easily. But , in my home , if you leave something on the floor , it means you really didnt want it and its a free for all with my dogs
If I miss a poop while the birds are out and there are dogs around , well , I hate to say it , but , they may get to it before I do

I honestly did not see where poop off did any more than water. Some people love it though. This stuff took that poop and other mess right up

Wells its supposed to take off the chemicals and bacteria on fruits and veggies so I guess. Ill have to ck that for ya.

I normally never post about a product but I was really impressed with how this cleaned the bird cages.

lolol. I have 6 Border Collies and 1 Beagle. I can tell you that no food hits the floor here , and if it does , its gone in a millisecond , lolol.
I think Stella knows that when she drops pellets from her dish there is a mad scramble for it , lol. So , i really dont have to sweep that much , lol. Only after their main meals.
I know when the dogs have had their noses where they dont belong , like under the cages , because if there are some feathers floating around there , they stick to the dogs noses lolol. Silly dogs , but heck , they do just as good of a job as a Dyson I guess I inadvertently trained my dogs that when I have the bird bowls in my hand in the morning and i chase the dogs out , they know the birds are getting their meals , so they sit at the door with their noses plastered on the glass door , lolol. But I cant chance them getting any grapes or raisins and things they shouldnt have ..
But if a pellet hits the floor , they are more then welcome to eat those , lol.

lololol , the Border Collies get a little obsessive and intense about waiting for food to dtop , so I have to put a stop to it after a while. It can literally drive you insane having that many BCs trying to will the birds to drop food , lolol.

Has the manufacturer tested it to certify it as bird safe? I'm not sure I'd rely on the fact that it is "all natural" to be certain it is safe to use on cages and so forth.

Poop-off I find works very well, but if the poop is dried, you need to give it a chance to work on it for a bit. It's enzymatic and it takes time for the chemistry to do its thing. It's the only thing I'm confident using in the cages when I'm not going to rinse them afterward because it's had a lot of use around a lot of birds for a long time...

I used about a quarter of a cap full with a standard spray bottle.

Don't know if I'd spray the Pam around the birds -- the aerosolized oils probably aren't great to breathe. Also, if the climate is at all warm, the oils will become rancid and if your bird spends time on the grate, it might not be ideal to ingest.

Pam is basically just canola oil in the form of a fine mist. I have heard of this trick before, but I am not inclined to try it for the above reasons.
