In a few months we will be painting the bird rooms! Woo-hoo!
Right now one room is bright red and the other is a deep blue color called admiral.

The blue room is going to be the big bird room. A Blue and Gold Macaw and a Red Lored Amazon will be caged in there, along with their own line of toys and perches on their own sides of the room.
The red room is my bedroom but will house my Conures (Jenday, normal gcc, and sun) with their play areas. (I literally just have my bed, a papusan chair, and a closet in there with drawers under my bed).
I really love the blue color in the other room but I think it's too dark for a bird room. I want them to feel comfortable and calm so I'm looking to change the color of both rooms but still want to make them look good.
I really want to do color not just white or cream. All the cages and accents are black. We are going to paint on April with low/no VOC paints while the birds stay with a friend for a few days.
What colors will be easy on the eyes for the birds but still make the rooms look eye appealing?
