Bird pics from Perth trip

I recently went to Perth for medical tests and found time to get to a big bird shop there plus one on the way back home. There's a galah/corella hybrid, and a group including an eccy hen, gang gang male and a pair of caiques. While taking the group shot, there was a long-billed corella on the ground trying to untie my shoelaces!

There were other birds in there, including the eccy's mate, and the corella eating my shoes (there's a warning outside the cage not to go in with "open" footwear like thongs). These were the ones which came to my shoulder straight up, the caiques being the first. The gang gang hen stayed close but didn't come to shoulder. I suspect the gang gangs are quite old, or at least the male is given his ratty crest. The eccy tried to eat shirt buttons and cracked two!

The tests went well, thanks Tab, although I won't have definitive results for another 2-3 weeks. I had first general anaesthetic for 25 years, and was quite groggy for a day afterwards. The group shot was in a town halfway back, wasn't up to the whole journey home (driving).

Most birds do lol. Our plumhead checks out the moustache quite closely for free meals
