I LOVE Bird Paradise! They have a huuuuuuuuge selection of toys for birds of every size. Their prices can be a little expensive depending on what you're buying. Toys can get a bit pricey, but the selection is amazing. I head up there about once every 2 months or so. It's about an hour from my house if traffic isn't too bad. You can spend hours (and lots of money) in there if you're not careful, lol.
Bid Paradise is big. They're babies are getting to be more friendly. Lots of adults are there in cages, and aggressive, but they seem to be working with them more. They have more toys than you can imagine- but they are very pricey. Some macaw toys run up to $110! However, they have a great area where you can make you're own toys (and from experience, it's much more fun and cheaper!). You can take your own fid there too (but they like them to be harnessed or in a carrier). They do theyre own grooming and always have coupons on thier website for discounts on the grooming o toys, cages, etc. They do a great and fast job with the groomings, but it's too fast for me to think they are making sure my fid is comfortable, so I go elsewere. They clip all their birds and are anti sunflower seed and shelled peanuts. Food is expensive (dried strawberries are $50.00 a pound!). They have different tree stands and around 15 different cages, but a huge catalog, and the cage warehouse is minutes away.
I ordered some things from them online from their website. When I got my items the perch I bought [manzanita wood] was broken [the bolt-nut part] so I called them and they said they would send me a new bolt assembly. I waited a couple of months and never received it, I figured they were just busy with the holiday season. I called them again a couple of weeks ago and they sent me a brand new perch completely free. Other than me waiting too long to contact them about not receiving the bolt assembly, great experience! No hassle on the phone or with shipping/ordering.
They do have a very large selection of cages. There's a giant room devoted entirely to cages and perches. Actually, it's more like a room and a half. It's worth the trip just to check it out. You can always hear the Sun Conures as soon as you walk past the 'big bird' room. They're so cute. It's neat to go in and see all the different babies.
