Bird names!!!

Well I'm making a list of names for my bird(Yet to decide if it a boy/girl so throw in two if possible!) and I'm terrible with names! I've thought of some cheesy ones from a anime I watch (Kyuubi if anyone knows where that name comes from :3) and putting it into the hat but I need more names!

This will be just spin the hat and take a name out so leave your name and I'll message you when I figure out what sex the bird will be and if they have your name!

Sunny is probably the most popular name for a sun. Translated to spanish it is Soleado, spanish for golden is Oro. I think spanish is the language spoken in the Sun's native land. Google doesnt have a translator for Mayan or any of the native languages. I tried to name Merlin a Mayan name, but the poor baby didnt have a name for 2 weeks, so I gave in. I was afraid he would be named Birdy, I do have a dog named Dawg.

Sun (Soleil) that what I found for mayan! I'll add that and Soleado/Oro to the list! I just got to make sure I pronounce them correct.

Edit: Sunny just sounds so unoriginal to me to be honest. No offense to bird owners with a bird named Sunny though!

Edit 2: I was thinking maybe Lous after Lous Armstrong. One of my favorite singers!

Soleil actually means sun in french. It is pronounced "soh-lay".

Do you plan on getting the bird DNA tested or are you just going to decide on a gender? What I did with my sun conure is I decided that he is a boy but I gave him a name that could be for both a boy or a girl. (I learned my lesson after I had a "male" cockatiel lay an egg lol) Now if my sunny is actually a girl, all I would have to do is change the spelling from Nicky to Nikki.

Here's just a few unisex names that I can think of off the top of my head: Alex, Jesse/Jessie, Tony/Toni (I kind of like Jessie the best)

I really like Louis myself too I plan to get the bird DNA'ed, just got to get 25$ to get to the breeder to get it done lol!

All of our birds and dogs and cats have people names...so I like those. I really like Soleil. If you're looking for a Spanish name, how about Estaban for a boy or Ileana for a girl. Those are my favorite Spanish names.

I like to wait and see what the bird's personality is prior to a name. You can come up with ideas but I think iit should fit the bird.

Mylah is a nice name and I love the name kernal lol.

I think I'll add Jacky to the list and I like that name!
To be honest I'm really hoping that when I actually see and hold the bird that a name for it will just pop.

I just got a baby sun conure recently too and named her Willow....some names I was tossing around you might also like. They were Tiki, Mango, Kiwi, Ying, Fuji, Makita, and Echo.
