As much as I love to cook. I can't bake to save my life. It's like chemistry in a foreign language to me. I can follow recipes easily but to just throw something together out of sheer creativity... I fail. I'd like to make some bird bread for my eclectus. Something I can put fruit into and serve him for breakfast. I give him a bird mash for dinner with mostly veggies in it and he loves it, always. But I need to start getting creative with the fruit. And he wont eat veggies and fruit together very well. If i don't split his feedings of fruit and veggies into different times and mix them, he just picks out 1 or 2 things that he wants and doesn't eat much. He's a weird one. Can you guys post some of your favorite (and easy please, as I just seem to destroy anything that has to do with baking) Birdie bread recipes? I'd like him to try some new meals to keep it exciting for him as I can tell he sometimes gets bored with just plain fruit in the morning. P.s. I do add in oats an such with fruit but I can tell sometimes he gets bored. I've scoured for bird bread recipes but some of them have so many ingredients that I wouldnt even eat (like regular flour?!?! WTF?!?!) or they have a 2 page list of ingredients and instructions I get lost and just mess it all up. So.... to finalize my speech.... Anyone have any healthy, fresh, simple recipes for birdie bread? Mr. Pickles thakns you all ahead of time! and so do I!!:32:
