Bird Baths...Safe Or Not Safe?

So I went to Petsmart today and purchased two bird baths. I thought they looked cool and very intresting. As I put them on the bird's cages, I started to think about what could happen, like them drowning themselves, ect. What are your opinions on these??

Unless the water is quite deep, birds will take a bath in their water bowl as long as your bird can stand in the water and it just covers their legs, very little chance of them drowning.

I do not recommend using those types of bird baths without supervision, the concern of toes or beaks caught between cage and bath would be more my concern, but I'm a weirdo with stuff like that.

You can also put a shallow heavy bowl or crock in the bottom of the cage if you want them to have water to splash in. Again, shallow being the only concern!

I think your birds should be fine Parrots are only prone to drowning in deep water since they cannot swim but shallow water they can stand in is no kind of safety concern.
