Loki-Jenday Conure
I have a Jenday Conure that I've had for around 2 months now, every morning I get up early and take him outside so he can enjoy the outdoors before it gets to hot but lately every time I take him out he starts sneezing and sticking his claws in his nostrils as if he's trying to relieve itching. Can birds suffer from allergies and if so is there anything I can do to help relieve it? We don't have an avian vet where I live so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am also looking into purchasing an aviator harnesses and flight line, for you guys that have purchased these what size did you get for your conure?

Yes, birds can have allergies! I don't have experience having to deal with allergies in birds though - at least, not if it's related to pollen. Have you called around to the various vet offices to see if anyone knows someone who treats birds?

I have a small Aviator harness, however you probably require the x-small. I purchased the small because I have a conure about twice the size of a jenday! If you look at the Aviator website, it mentions what sizes are best for birds of various species.
