- I have an orange wing amazon named Darwin. He's 31 and awesome.
I already have my wonderful Darwin who's an orange wing amazon, but I'm wanting to get another bird sometime this next year. The three I've been thinking about are: African Grey, Eclectus (female), or Blue and Gold Macaw. I read extensively about all three and have had some wonderful encounters with a B&G, and a Grey. I haven't met an Eclectus, yet. Anyway, I would love to hear from someone about your experiences and if you have an amazon and another bird what it might be. I know I've got to make the decision, but it's so hard. All three of the ones I'm considering are wonderful birds. Oh, whichever I get will be a baby. I feel a baby will be easier to bring into our home with Darwin than another grown bird. Any thoughts?
