So I installed the 2 perches I made. I hope he uses them. Let me know what ya'll think. They are rough looking, but I think they'll work.

they look fab, and i love the one on top of the cage!

You did a good job and saved yourself money. When it comes time to clean them just use vinegar water to clean then. I use an old toothbrush for that. 1 or 2 tbsp. per quart of water.

It was fun to make. What do you guys think of the "poop-off" spray for cleaning?

I have never used them. Like Spiritbird, I use vinegar and water, its sooo much cheaper and works really well.

I adore POOP OFF! I actually have used it to clean my stove top because whatever enzymes it uses that are fabulous for breaking down bird poo and caked on fruit paste is also good at cleaning up spills on the stove top or wiping up after our dog. There are probably cheaper ways to make a cleaner that is safe at home, but I love this cleaner for everything!

Poop-off is the BOMB! Yesterday I got the dreaded white deodorant streaks on my shirt and the Poop-off took it right off!

Thanks everyone! You guys just inspired me to vinegar water my wood floors :) I really needed to do it! :D
