Best seeds for budgies?

Is KayTee a good diet for my 2 sweeties? That seems to be the most predominant seed mix at the pet stores but of course that doesn't mean it's the best for them. Yesterday I bought KayTee for parakeets and when I opened it at home it didn't look anything like what they have been eating. It had big pieces of "something" that I don't know what it was. I want them to eat the best and I worry that pet store seed might be junk. Any suggestions?

I hope you aren't going to feed them just seeds....

They also need a good pellet mix and lots of fruits and veggies!

I can't help you with seeds, but some good pellet mixes are Harrisons, Roudybush, and Zupreem.

Someone else will probably be able to tell you a good seed mix to use.

They also get their favorite carrots and apples and they love spinach and grapes. I've tried pellets but no go. I've mixed it in with their seed but they just leave it. I gave it around a month so maybe I'll try again.

Almost forgot, they also receive a balanced Omega 3 & 6 avian formula every day.
