Hi! I am going to be adopting a U2. My niece's friend has a beautiful 2-year old sweetie who he has to rehome due to a divorce. He's now a single dad with full custody of a 7-year old daughter and just cannot give the poor thing the time she needs. She's going to be coming to our house with a nice big cage, but I want to get her a playstand too so she can have plenty of out-of-cage time.

The problem is, the only stand I have is a T-stand with food/water bowls on either end. I had a C2 for many years and she was totally bored with it, and prefered to climb around on her cage (and all my furniture, lol:09:). I'd like to find something that the new 'too could climb around on and one that could hold chew and foraging toys.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good, fun playstand for a U2? I have 2 macaws who also play on their cages who might be able to benefit from a good stand as well! Thanks!:white1:

If you can get the java tree play stands in your part of the world I can strongly recommend those. Get some spare stainless steel eye screws so you can add plenty of toys to it as well.

Thank you! I can't find the Java tree play stands for less than $500 here in the states, but I am looking into a Manzanita tree play stand that looks very similar and is about $200 cheaper. Reviews look good on it. Thanks for your input! :)

Wow, finally there's something that's cheaper in the UK than it is in the US!

I should think the Manzanita tree stands have much the same benefits, lots of climbing and exploring potential and as it's natural grown wood the diameter varies so it's better for their feet.
