Bent wing?

Hi all.

A few weeks ago my budgie unfortunately slammed into glass door while flying, maybe it was too clean or something, but I think he bent or dislocated his wing. I don't think he was in prolonged pain or anything. It now just sits kind of bent on his body. He can still fly but no longer the efficient flyer that he was. I was wondering if I take him to the vet that this is correctable?

It sounds like he broke his wing! He would hide the pain, as birds won't show weakness. Definitely vet!

We really are not a replacement for an Avian Professional.

If the wing is in fact bent i.e. it curves away from the body, especially if it is an odd angle, as stated above, it could be broken. If it droops down that is more likely a bruised muscle.
