bent/broken feather

please help

my 11 week old male moustache parrot has a broken feather on his tail!
does this mean any thing? or did he just break it ? im not sure.

At 11 weeks old you baby may have had a clumsy moment and broke the tailfeather. As long as it is not a blood feather and bleeding you can just snip the broken end off with scissors. Blood feathers are very thick and have a reddish, blue tint near the base. You do not want to touch them, but let a vet handle it for you.
