I'm hoping I'm fussing unnecessarily but we have noticed over the last week that my 24 year old Senegal seems to be shedding an unusual number of feathers.
He's in excellent health, as chirpy and as full of mischief as I could hope, not fretting with his feathers in any way but seems to be moulting unusually. He has not developed any bald patches anywhere and his skin appears healthy. He is eating well as always.
It has been ridiculously warm in these parts and as a result we have been pulling the curtains a bit more than normal. I did wonder if a lack of natural light or the heat might be responsible.
I'd be glad of any advice.
