Can I feed my bird any colour of bell peppers. My birds only really like the green ones and i was wondering if it's fine to give to them.

Love is love. And peppers are peppers. Yes, all of them.

Unless your bird has an especially sensitive tummy and has shown digestive problems after eating green peppers, I wouldn't worry. Parrots tend to have much tougher digestive tracts than us weak humans. Only food issues I've encountered is when my budgies eat too many pellets. It ends up irritating their crops, resulting in head bobbing (as if to regurgitate), and sometimes vomiting. Other species are fine with pellets.

I think its cause pellets are dry and budgies dont drink much water anyway.

Many parrots love hot peppers and jalapenos also. My vet says they don't taste spicy like humans do. Also, my boys LOVE the insides of the peppers best (the seeds and white stuff that I would normally have thrown away!).

Peppers, the hotter the better, are one of Salty's basic chop recipes. Jalapeno, Ghost, chilie, red, green and yellow peppers. He loves 'em. In fact he will eat them as his lunch all by theem selves. Parrots have 1 taste bud to 100 of ours.
