Bed Bath and Beyond....Whoda thunk?!

So I'm watching a Grey video and see this foraging toy that I gotta have. It's clear boxes but these are horizontal and Jasper has to slide them sideways to open them. So I do a Google search to find them.....and where do I find them at a very reasonable price? Bed Bath and Beyond...Totally blew my mind.

I guess they really are Beyond!

What kind of conure? Does your conure like to forage? I have a Green Cheek. She's really not into foraging and only occasionally likes to shred things. She's more of a let me be on you and you tell me how cute I am while you rub my head kinda parrot.

As for the foraging toy, my man Jasper had no trouble figuring it out all. Took him no time. One of the compartments slides open, one turns open, and the other 2 lift open. The whole unit turns so if you put it in front of a perch, they can turn it to get to each compartment. I don't give him a perch so he generally hangs upside down to get to the compartments or he sits on top of it.

I don't have a bird yet, but am considering conures. I'm a prepper. Interestingly, the Canadian price for the toy is $27. They do have some other foraging toys as well. I was kind of surprised that BB&B would carry bird stuff.

Oh man that is super cool !! I wonder if my green cheek conure would like it ? They're not the braniacs like a grey, but mine is very obsessed with the latch on her cage and opening and closing her door. I've been looking for a toy that would incorporate some kind of mechanism. Thanks for sharing I might just give it a shot
