Can you take a picture?

Macaws beaks grow continuously, sometimes you can see a layer on top of the old one. :)

wendy thats all
what do you think

That just looks like normal beak growth. That last pic looks like he might've been trying to eat the camera though :) If they are available in your country, the sand-covered or cement perches are good to put in their cages, and they will instinctually rub their beaks on them, which smooths things out. OR if he will tolerate it, you can just use a nail file to gently smooth out the ridges. If he is fearful of it though, don't worry about it, it won't affect him in any way to have his beak like that.

They are basically a perch that has a surface like sandpaper or a nail file-

Whenever the bird steps on the perch or rubs it's beak on the perch, it files down the nails or beak a little. Our bird actually rubs his beak on his sand perch quite a bit. I think it feels good for him and it files away all the uneven parts of his beak. I am not sure of Rio's level of comfort with you, but if he is not scared of a nail file and is accepting of you holding his beak, you can gently file the rough parts of his beak just like a fingernail. Their beak is actually made of the same stuff as our fingernails, and does not feel pain when gently filed down. However, most birds are NOT ok with their owners holding their beak and filing it and he might bite out of fear if you try. Honestly, for something that is normal and natural, I wouldn't take him to a vet over it. The uneven beak doesn't hurt him, and it will flake off eventually. That's just how their beaks grow. People file those rough patches down for aesthetic reasons, the parrot does not care. But if you can find one of those perches, Rio may file his own beak on it. Many parrots like them!
