Beak and nails too long?

Hi everyone!

My Rosie doesn't like to chew things, no matter how hard I try to get her to chew different materials she's just not interested (if anyone has any advice for this I would be SO grateful!). My main concern is that she is not wearing down her beak because of it. It's grown a lot since I got her as a baby, but I just don't know how long it should actually be!

Does this look a bit long to you??

(I've also included a nail photos as I feel like they might be a bit long. although they are not sharp...)

Thanks so much,

Jessie and Rosie

(the feathers round her neck look a bit scruffy... she'd just shoved her head in my yoghurt pot!)

Her beak and nails look fine to me. Cookie's beak looks exactly the same and she doesn't ever touch her toys.

Sorry, I have no advice about getting her to play with stuff because I have the same problem with Cookie.

If Cookie's beak ever gets slightly sharp, I just file it down slightly, but her beak never gets too long.

Thank you Frumpydumple!

I'll try to keep an eye on it to see if it gets any longer.

Good to know that Cookies look the same. And that Rosie isn't the only non-chewer!!!

Thanks,

Jessie and Rosie

Erik loves me to play with his toys in and out of his cage.

I have to make a big fuss and squeal and laugh and play with a toy when I first show him a new toy or he doesn't play with it in his cage.
