Because commandeering MY shower every day is never enough for the bathing beauty (though we won't be taking pictures of THAT bath time:54:), heres the daily soaking of the living room I get:rolleyes: The new cage has even BIGGER dishes, so now he has more of a 'swimming pool' to work with as opposed to the 'bathtub' sized dish before:52:

Nothing, I mean NOTHING is happier than an amazon taking a bath!

I love it!!! I need Kiwi to teach Sammy how to take a bath :)

Aww, Kiwi sure is cute taking advantage of his new 'swimming pool'! :D I'm glad he loves his new cage!

Kiwi is beautiful! Oops,:p I mean handsome! (sorry Kiwi:)!) My birds LOVE bath time too, something very cute about a soaking wet bird!

Lol. Are you *sure* Kiwi is the, er, right candidate to teach Sammy;)? He's not otherwise messy (for a parrot), but the living room sure gets a daily soaking lol. When we lived closer, my mom would watch him while we went on vacation (she has 3 parrots who all love baths too herself, but none do THIS). She would always say what a well behaved boy he was except the baths drove her nuts (made her tile floors an outright hazard).

I think you mentioned something about how you keep your cages lasting so long by never getting them soaking wet. I've been wiping down the new cage and spot cleaning daily, but not getting 'soaking wet' isn't going to happen:54:

So Cute ! Clearly he's not photo shy while bathing
The camera makes him even MORE excited. "Look at me! Look at me! I'm flashing all my fancy plumage!" lol

Love the photos, April! Glad Kiwi approves of his new cage and spa.

Awww...what a handsome zon! I bet he is in heaven in his new mansion with his swimming pool...when will you be installing the sauna:09:...lol. It amazes me the color change of a wet zon. All I have to do to get mine to take a bath is change the papers on the bottom...like "oh mom's changing the papers...let's make her do it again!" Or, as others have said in other threads, run the vacuum. When Sassy takes her bath in her water bowl, Cisco ALWAYS follows along so the whole room floor is wet! I'm going to get a "WET FLOOR" sign I think..lol.;)

Vacuum ? Mine will run around the cage with all feathers sticking straight up. I thought he was scared. Maybe I should try bath time then LOL

He is soooo beautiful! I wish Zilla would take a lesson or two about bath time from him! She tolerates baths/showers but doesn't "like" them and would never voluntarily take one!

I see you got the condo with the spa option. Is he ever dry since he moved in? LOL!
