Well, as most of you know, I started school again. One of my classes I take is Italian 4 (super advanced italian). Last week, we had a project in which we had to write a poem about anything we wanted and to try and put a rhyme in there or two. I wrote about Bartleby. I got an A on it. Here it is"

Il mio papagallo
è molto bello
con il viso giallo.
Lei ama volare
nella mia camera.
Canta nel mattina
di mi sveglia.
(I don't know if many of you speak italian but for those who don't, just be aware that letters are said differently in italian than english)

Translation:
My parrot
is very pretty
with her yellow face.
She loves to fly
around my room.
She sings in the morning
to wake me up.

My teacher loved the poem and how I decorated it. What do you guys think? Plus, any italian speakers on here?

I did Italian in school.

Here's what sunk in. "something about a panini."

Well done you, how clever you are!

What a cute poem! I wish I spoke italian. I can sing in italian, but I have no idea what it could mean... I was trained 4+ years in opera, and a lot of it is in italian, so that's where I have the experience from.
