Bald Spot

Hello, I've recently joined this forum. I have a three month old Green Cheek Conure. A few mintues ago a noticed that he has a little bald patch on his head, you can't really see it unless he fluffs up, but when he does you can obviously see there are some feathers missing. He's my first bird. Is he sick? I don't think he's plucking? I read that it could be that he's molting? Should I be worried?

Have you noticed any feathers laying around? I would bet it's moult related. Just keep an eye on him. If he's preening, itching alot, hes just moulting. Try and give him a bath, by misting him with water and a spray bottle.
Then you'll probably notice more feathers laying around.
I wouldn't worry just yet. Just make sure he's eating normally.
