Hi, I'm new to this forum and want to share with you the following link,
National Parrot Sanctuary - The Parrot Zoo Watch
We never know what life will throw at us, and I'm sure everybody here on this forum loves their birds as much as I love mine -
so we all need to be aware of the contents of the link I've pasted.
Please share with every parrot lover you know.
Thank you.

This totally breaks my heart, I cant stand to see these places, what is wrong with people.. I hope people know these birds are like people and they have feelings and it just saddens me that people could be so cruel...

I'd say it's in the UK because they showed prices in pounds.

I can't even fathom the point of something like this. If it's supposed to be a sanctuary, who on earth would want their bird to be there? I'm guessing it's something to make money like an amusement park.

I tend to get mice in my house during crop harvests. In July when they do the wheat and again in the fall when the do corn and beans. My cat is a great mouser but the moment they begin harvest, I set traps up everywhere I can where they are not accessible to any of my animals. Birds do not seem scared of mice though. My Nanday saw one once before I did or the cat did and said hello to it! She also once flew over to a cricket and said hello to that as well. But, geez, mice peeing and pooping in bird food is illness waiting to happen. And outdoors in the UK!

I am broken hearted reading this.
