Went back up to Avalon aviary today. Visited her rescue Myers (old breeder bird not tame) a rescue Senegal, some type of very cute parakeet I had never seen before and then the red bellies. Last week they were so busy flying we could barely get ahold of them to feed them. This week the male red belly picked me! He snuggled with me for an hour. Preened my hair, played with my necklace and we worked on stepping up. So all my doubts and second guessing myself faded. He is my baby !! Now we need a name, and have to wait a few more weeks for the weaning to be done. So excited!!
