hi guys im trying find a baby greenwing macaw in uk for sale as it been 2 years now since passing of my 7 year old greenwing after a strange breathing problem. the vet try to save here but was not able to. after the passing I struggled with the fact that she was gone and also my blue & gold macaw did to I guess she was missing here friend so in end I gave here to rescue centre to be with over macaws so after all that I think it now time so if there anyone out there in uk that has greenwing or know of a good breeder I would much appreciate it as there lot of scams out there and I know all of them. I might consider a slightly older bird but will need to be friendly and have vet history or I will think about rescuing macaw to

Hi have you searched Birdline in the UK? They may be able to help if you are up for adoption? They will have birds of all ages. Just out of curiosity where did you place your B & G? I am very sorry for the loss of your Greenwing, 7 is very/too young to lose her. They looked beautiful birds, so sad.

Well b&g is with lynne at Woodies wings and she shows all her rescue birds around uk.and birdline I found them very arrogant when I was look at get my 1st macaw I contact them and ask if I could adopt all they want me to do was keep paying them money to join this and that also they don't know how talk to people. I think 99% time they play with people harts saying the have birds for adoption and they don't it big scam to get money out of you that was my experience with them won't do it again but if there anyone out there who's had a good or bad expression put it on here like to hear it

Hello, pleased to hear your B&G is with someone from Woodies Wings, have heard of them and have faith. Make contact with them again and let them know you're looking again WDYT? Was fearful it had gone nearer the east coast, get my drift? Birdline, comments are no surprise and sorry not an avenue to explore for you. There has got to be birds out there it is just getting to hear about them. If you want to chat pm me? Get to know your local RSPCA rescue centre, help out if you can afford the time? They struggle with birds IMO as more geared to cats n dogs. :)
