Navi - a Dusky Conure
Hey y'all, I have had my first conure for a month or so now, she's a little baby (4 months old) so she's still discovering her voice and volume levels. One noise, however, I'm a little worried about. It's like a vibrating squeaky chirp (video attached, it's quiet so have volume up) [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aIsChxRXFU"]YouTube[/ame]
It's not tied to a particular behavior, sometimes it's when she's cuddly like in the video, others she's in her cage and it's even happened when she was on my husband's shoulder. Any ideas on what this noise could mean?

I can't make his work, and I SO want to see it!!!!
It says "private"when I try go play it.

The Rickeybird makes a very similar noise but deeper and louder... sort of a purrrrr.
I think it's a sign of contentment or relaxation.

P.S.
What a cutie!

Okay phew! My sister has a sun conure and when I asked her she said hers has never made any noise even similar, and as the paranoid mother I am, I've been freaking out! Thank you, and yes, she is so sweet and adorable! Definitely brings a new light to my life :45:

sounds like a happy noise to me and they're very chilled out.

If they're only making this noise when you're scritching them it could mean that they love what you're doing
