What? I had no I mean NO IDEA that she would be able to talk so soon. I have been meaning to take my phone with me and record her when I first walk into the pet store so I can share how she reacts. She's so cute how she runs full force to the cage door all while giving kisses. And her kisses get louder every day! Now she will put her beak up to your cheek and kiss you :).

I thought it was amazing that she was mimicking me this early. Her hatch date was 1/17/12. But the kisses were just the beginning.

I take her out of her cage and go and sit up front where the other birds arent so loud. I do this everyday. When someone comes into the store you hear a door bell and the owner always says "hello" then that is followed by 25 birdie "hellos" and some door bell mimicking. Today someone came in and Jack said hello, then I hear another hello, which I brushed off as another bird. Jack looked at me and said " I think Bongo just said hello" I said no way... A couple minutes later the doorbell rang again and Bongo immediatley went "hello". !!!!

She is a brilliant girl :) Can you believe talking before she is even weaned????

Woww that's really amazing! Graphite was hatched a week after Bongo (01/25/12) and already trying to mimick my kisses but Bongo went a step (or tens) ahead, lol.

I love the name graphite! <3

Wow, awesome! You're certainly going to have a talker on your hands then no doubt :p

i've seen a lot of greys talking clearly at 3-4 months. but yeah, congrats!

Rosie said her first word at 9 months of age. You should feel good about greys talking at an early age.

Good girl, Bongo! Jasper is decent at whistles but he's not one of those early talkers though I am sure he will eventually. Just be careful, she starts talking you might miss the peace and quiet ;)
