Riley-white faced grey cockatiel (hatch date 6-28-2014) RIP Halloween-pied cockatiel
the Drs Foster and Smith website has SEVERAL foraging toys. Not just the simple cardboard that is filled with paper to shred. but things like wheels, pouches, puzzles, balls and of course the starter cardboard boxes and they are realtively cheap as well.

Yes, Dr Foster's does have a selection if you can afford their prices. I prefer CheepParrotToys website but thanks for the suggestion.

I really don't think they are all that expensive. Places like petsmart and petco are more expensive. Plus orders over $50 are free shipping and they don't charge taxes on your purchases.

the best foraging "toy" i ever have was a flat of wheatgrass, go buy the plain flat (14''x24'') i put it in the bottom of my U2's cage. I would shove nuts, seeds and random fruits down in the grass. He could go down and dig in the soil, eat the grass, forage for the treats, and he would talk and whistle and coo up a storm! If he ever pooped on it, just take it out and hose it off, the grass regrows and its clean and moist for him again.

I now do this for all my scratchers, best bang for my buck...Period.

Just curious where would you get a flat of wheat grass? I am in Canada and have never seen one.
