Hi everyone,
I've got two two year old IRN (male and female) which were previously housed in an aviary. I've had them for a week, changing their toys, and slowly training them to take fruit from my hand. however after a week of being couped up (in comparison to their aviary) the girl is starting to pace back and forth along her perch. I know she wants to fly but if I let them out they will not return to their cage and catching them will cause stress and set my training back. they are already very weary of me.
I don't want this pacing to become a habit. will she grow out of it with slow encouragement and training or is she a bird that has to go back to her aviary to be happy.
