avian Psittocasis decease

Just wanted to know if automatically bird need to be tested for avian Psittocasis decease?

If I was bringing a new bird into my flock, yes I would test

I do every new bird that comes to my home because I have an elderly person with lung issues that lives us. It is reassurance that you're not endangering the humans and other birds in your house. It's also a LOT cheaper to avoid than to treat a house full of birds and people for this disease.
