Yep. Get a clean or new spray bottle, make sure its very clean inside if you are re-purposing a used one. Fill with warm water, and set on mist only. If you can get him outside his cage, a chair back makes a good shower stand. Spray the mist up so the tiny droplets fall on your 'keet. He may not like it much at first but do it like once a week, if not more. Parrots need showers or baths to keep feathers and skin in good condition. You might find he comes to love his showers - I know my Salty, an Amazon, hated them at first, now he goes into full blown birdy joy at shower time.
There are several methods to bathe your bird, remember to try these at least once a week.
1) Spray bottle- Purchase a new spray bottle (can be easily found at a gardening store)
and spray your bird, but not directly onto your bird's face.
2) Shower- Birds sometimes reject bathing in showers used for humans, because the pressure is too high. So you can purchase a bottle which is used to water plants, try that.
3) Self bathing- your bird doesn't seem to be liking this much, but you can still try putting in some lettuce in your bird's bathing bowl.
