So, yesterday my family and I took a trip to Atlantic City, New Jersey. It was a family trip, but it was also a belated trip for my 21st birthday and we were going to go to the casinos. Well, that part of the trip was a burn because my learners permit (which is also my state ID) expired, and even though I am 21, and it says so on that ID, no one will take it!! And of course, I don't look 21, so it's not like I could have just gambled and no one would have questioned it. What's even worse, is that I must not even look 17 because I wasn't allowed to buy a rated R movie either (you have to be at least 17 here to buy a rated R movie/mature video game), because my ID is expired. My 18 yr old brother, who's state ID isn't expired, had to come bail his 21 yr old sister out to get the R movie. Talk about embarrassing! I mean, just because it's expired, doesn't make me any less 21? Oh well, I'm renewing it this week and then we're gonna try again, lol.

ANYYYYWAY.... we still had a good trip and I figured I'd post some picture from it. We were only there for the day, but we still had fun.

Just some random shots from the boardwalk:

So then, we left. It is supposed to take about 3 hours to get back home, but it ended up taking us 6! We got lost, and ended up in some Amish town, lol. It was pretty cool though. We thought it was wild how many horses and buggies were being used! They were parked in spaces like cars, and were actually trotting down the street! They were very hard to get pics of, but I got a few. The other pics are just landscape pics.

A pic of Philadelphia, PA before we got lost, lol:

We did of course finally make it home! It was a very fun day, and if you've stayed with the thread this long, thanks for looking at my photos! :D I warned ya it was a lot of them!

Oh I loved ALL the photos! It is amazing to see your buildings, streets, statues - well EVERYTHING!

The photo with the images of people in the windows are really cool! It seems like there was not a lot of people around?

Even the Amish part - I did not know that it really existed - thought it was only in movies.

You my girl, really look 16-!:D

Most of all, the cleanliness of the streets brings back memories of a time gone by.

I'm glad you enjoyed the photos! :) It's gotta be strange but cool seeing all kinds of things from other countries, I never really thought about it when posting these. We thought those buildings with the shadows in the windows were really cool too! :) And nope, not too many people around. They were all gambling. :p

Yup, the Amish do exist! :D It's something you really only see in Pennsylvania though, and I think maybe New York? Well, I know Pennsylvania for sure. This was out first time ever seeing Amish people! My sister was so excited! lol

And I wish I would start looking my age, lol. Everyone always thinks I'm a kid! But everyone tells me I'm gonna love it when I get older and I'm still getting carded, but we'll see... :20:

And those streets really were super clean! That is out in the country though, so it is usually nice no matter what state you go to. In the city, there is sooo much garbage/littering!

Glad you enjoyed my pictures! I see you're the only one that was brave enough to load up so many pictures it seems. :p

We have a considerable Amish population here in Sarasota Florida as well. they just traded their horse and buggies in for 3 wheeled bicycles :)

Well, I must say the photos did not take long to load at all! In anyway, why do you want gamble? Ag no, I cant believe your streets in the city looks like ours!

What do you mean with their buggies - what is that?
