Ate the whole cob!?

Iā€™ve given him half an ear of fresh before, but Iā€™m looking now, and thereā€™s no center cob left! I donā€™t really see evidence that he just shredded it, but is this possible and SAFE?

That he ate the center too!?
 
Do you have a CAV you can call on this one? I know they say to avoid corn-cob bedding as it can cause intestinal blockages. My bird will eat nut shells and that is dangerous, so I cannot give them to her.

I would let your vet know and keep a close eye to make sure there is regular eating, pooping and no vomiting...but do call.

Iā€™m an idiot.

My wife pulled out the tray, and she showed me all of these kernels of corn that had little pieces of cob attached to them.
