I've seen a breeder in Bris who feeds their birdies arrowroot biscuits, thoughts? I've given mine small bits of it and they love nothing more than their afternoon biscuit! (arnotts of course!)

Didn't know anyone made arrow root biscuits commercially. i guess if there's not too much added fat they'd be ok. Can't imagine picking that much arrowroot.

We have Arrowroot Biscuits and Codie has them as a treat now and then:)

They are not very high in fat content so they should be ok. They are just very thin, plain biscuits.

Here is a pic of one :)

Here in Canada they are sold as baby biscuits. The rescue gives tiny pieces to the birds as a treat.
Mr Christie makes them here as well as President's choice, Canadian Loblaws.
Check the baby foods section.

That is a great idea for a snack! My birds love munching on crackers but I don't give them crackers very often because I think the sodium content is too hi. I'm going to pick some up next time I am at the store!

There you go,,, learn something new every day. I picked arrow roots in survival training as food, pretty plain. I knew they could be dried and ground into flour for baking. I;ll have to see if i can find them here.
