April 2020 POTM Contest!!!
This month's theme is Quarantine THIS!
Happy April, everyone! These days things have been far from typical hereabouts, haven't they? Worldwide, the concept of normal has been turned on its head. And most of us have been forced to adapt, at least for now, to a new way of life.
As I sit here, quarantined for the better part of 2 weeks and infected with an infuriatingly stubborn bug that is almost certainly Covid-19, it occurs to me that my birds could care less about any quarantines or pandemics. And I love them for it!
Their usual brand of crazy is a touch of normalcy for me in a world gone temporarily mad! And I wouldn't want them any other way. So, let's have some fun with it!
Please submit a photo or short video (90 sec limit) of your birds showing utter and complete disregard for the madness going on all around them. 'Social distancing?' they ask. 'What's that?' So, this could be anything. Your birds attached to your faces, or showing similar disregard for the concept of social distancing. (You know, being immune and all. Lol!) Or engaging in their usual bouts of feathered mayhem. Just let us know how your bird is expressing the sentiment, 'Quarantine This!'
Photoshop is allowed, though not required, for this month's contest.
No more than one entry per member, though you are free to post as many related "just for fun" photos as you'd like.
The winner will receive a Free One Year Premium Membership to Parrot Forums, and the winning photo will be displayed on the Home Page for the following month!
Submissions will be accepted from today, April 1st through Tuesday, April 28th. (Dates may vary slightly depending on your local timezone) At the conclusion of the submission period, a 3-day poll will be held to determine the winner.
